The department of Computer Engineering of SAL Institute of Technology and Engineering Research organized one day workshop on React-JS-Gateway to Modern Web UI on February 20, 2025. Workshop was organized for the B.E Semester-VII CE/CSE/ICT students with the direction of Dr. Rupesh Vasani Sir (Director, SAL Education) and Dr. Nimisha Patel (HoD, CE/CSE/ICT). A total of 42 students participated in the workshop The objective of organizing this workshop was to build an adequate forum for discussion of the many aspects related to the creation and development of the websites using React-JS and Node-JS and NPM framework, both from a theoretical perspective and practical exemplification of their potential applications. Below are the workshop contents: Introduction to React.js Understanding its core concepts and why it's a trending technology How to build a portfolio website using React.js Hosting React applications on a server Overview of MERN Stack and its real-world applications Career opportunities and future scope of React.js & MEAN Stack
